Flavour and taste
The Arbequina fruit is small but highly aromatic and appreciated by many. It is ripe enough to be harvested between the first week of November and the first week of December.
It has a unique, fresh flavor recalling the various pleasant smells of almonds and some other fruits. In its variety of flavours it may taste somewhat bitter, spicy or sweetish, too. The slightly bitter savour is due to the early harvesting, at a time when the olives are still green; hence also the fresh, greenish colour.
Being of a lovely smoothness, ARBEQUINA presents itself as of a refined taste, a flavour that many people appreciate and within a short time take a fancy to and acquire a taste for. A unique oil which we take pride in and enjoy.
